Ben De La Creme  Presents is seeking a Production Stage Manager to join the touring crew of The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show 2026 US/Canada Tour, starring Ben De La Creme  and Jinkx Monsoon

Dates:
October 13 - December 31, 2026

This is an international touring position requiring a valid passport, ability to enter Canada, and travel via overnight (sleeper) tour bus.

Ben De La Creme  Presents has been producing the internationally-acclaimed The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show since 2018 and is gearing up for another holiday season with two of the world’s most famous drag queens. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our touring production team.

Job duties:
  • Supervise the cast & crew for all studio rehearsals, technical rehearsals, load-ins, performances, and load-outs
  • Manage and implement the daily schedule, including rehearsal and performance call times and travel call times in coordination with the Tour Manager
  • Manage production work notes and tasks
  • Facilitate communication across all creative and technical departments
  • Supervise load-ins, coordinate with local crews and venue management teams on stage setup, Lineset Schedules, wardrobe load-in and maintenance, and other technical details
  • Maintain the show’s script, blocking notes, and other technical documentation including props lists and run sheets
  • Call the show and oversee backstage activity in performance
  • Collaborate with Costume Coordinator to create all wardrobe documentation (inventory, cleaning/care instructions)
  • Collaborate with the Director and Choreographer to ensure show maintains consistency with creative intent across the run of performances, and distribute performance notes to cast throughout the run
  • Coordinate with the Tour Manager and Advance Production Manager to ensure venue advance details are correct and current
  • Assist Tour Manager with advancing and executing transportation logistics
  • Maintain standard operating procedures for daily logistics, contingencies, and emergency situations
  • Serve as first point of contact for cast & crew human resources, schedule changes, and day-to-day problem-solving in rehearsal and on the road
  • Create and distribute daily rehearsal and performance reports
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Producers & Tour Manager
  • Ensure and uphold all safety standards and proper theatrical workplace practices
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Necessary skills & qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional stage management experience
  • Prior touring experience (“bus & truck” / one-night stops) working in theatres with union stagehands
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
  • A professional, calm, and positive demeanor with decisive leadership style and the ability to manage a small company and high-profile artists in close quarters over a sustained touring period
  • Strong working knowledge of theatrical industry standard lighting, video, sound, and rigging systems and protocols
  • Experience working with and leading local union crews including IATSE stagehands and Teamsters
  • Ability to lift and carry at 50 lbs+, including up and down stairs
  • A passport valid for international travel (valid through at least 6/30/2027)
  • Ability to enter Canada (regardless of working status, Canada will not allow entry to persons with felony convictions and/or certain misdemeanor convictions, including DUIs)
Compensation:
  • Salary: $1,750 - $2,250 per week, depending on experience (salary, exempt, non-union)
  • Daily meals provided and/or per diem while working outside of home city
  • All show-related airfare and ground transportation provided/reimbursed
  • Single-occupancy hotel accommodations provided while working outside of home city
