Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision:
  Identify player needs, analyze trends, and combine technical and product knowledge to drive initiatives that align with Xbox’s vision and strategy, primarily focusing on PC.
• Product Definition:
  Create comprehensive, user‑centric product requirements that articulate purpose, features, and functionality, emphasizing intuitive user experiences.
• Cross‑Functional
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate effectively with internal and external cross‑functional teams, including researchers, designers, engineers, and studios.
• Execution Excellence:
  Define, organize, and drive multiple engineering projects and initiatives. Prioritize customer scenarios, manage risks, and define clear metrics for success across the gaming organization.
• Executive Communication:
  Regularly engage with various levels of Gaming Leadership to present initiatives, share progress, and provide business updates against commitments.
• Inclusive Leadership:
  Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that values all contributions and promotes respectful decision‑making.
• Industry Expertise:
  Bring deep understanding of the PC games industry and the evolution of gaming platforms to inform product strategy and decision‑making.

• Required / Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
• Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience delivering customer‑facing applications in the consumer and/or entertainment space OR equivalent experience.
  • Self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑paced, rapidly changing requirements.
  • Experience using a range of metrics, both qualitative and quantitative, to drive product decisions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive culture where teams can do their best work.

Product Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 – $229,200 per year. In the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $153,600 – $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
