New York-based production coordinators work closely with clients to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget, using state-of-the-art equipment. The company emphasizes flexible, client-focused service designed to support creative visions efficiently and professionally.
The Digital Game Developer will design, develop, and maintain interactive game experiences that support D’Marie Productions’ creative projects and branded content. This role involves creating game concepts, building prototypes, implementing core gameplay mechanics, and optimizing performance across platforms. The developer will collaborate closely with producers, designers, artists, and editors to align game assets, narrative elements, and visual style with overall project goals.
Day-to-day work includes coding, debugging, integrating audio and visual assets, iterating based on play testing feedback, and ensuring stable builds for client and internal review. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, requiring regular collaboration with the production team and occasional support during shoots or post-production cycles.
- Strong proficiency in game development engines and tools (e.g., G Develop, Tik Tok’s Effect House, Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar) and solid understanding of object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, C , or equivalent).
- Experience designing gameplay systems, game loops, and user interactions, with skills in level design, UI/UX for interactive experiences, and player feedback integration.
- Ability to work with 2D/3D assets, animation pipelines, and basic shaders or visual effects, collaborating effectively with artists and motion designers.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), debugging and optimization techniques, and performance tuning for multiple platforms.
- Experience integrating audio, narrative, and cinematic elements into games, especially within media, entertainment, or branded content environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including producers, coordinators, and technical staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, Interactive Media, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in film, video production, or advertising is a plus, as well as familiarity with deadlines
