Climate Pledge Arena, located at Seattle Center, is the complete redevelopment of an historic landmark, originally built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair.

The arena is owned by One Roof Sports & Entertainment and operated by Oak View Group.

It is home to the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, WNBA's Seattle Storm,PWHL’s Seattle Torrent and the world's biggest performers of live music and events.

Climate Pledge Arena has one of the most progressive sustainability programs of any building its size, including being the world’s first Zero Carbon Certified arena.

Named after a cause, not a corporation, The Climate Pledge is an initiative founded by Amazon and Global Optimism asking global corporations to become net zero carbon by 2040. Climate Pledge Arena opened October 19, 2021.

• Must assess every vehicle upon arrival, including documenting any surface damage and overall vehicle’s condition.
• Be adept at safely handling a range of vehicle types including luxury vehicles, manual transmission vehicles, and electric vehicles.
• Processes all parking transactions by taking accurate records of keys, tickets, tips received, and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Provide exceptional and outstanding customer service
• Ability to multi-task, and follow-through with appropriate and timely results
• Must remain calm, alert, pleasant, and professional at all times
• Provide clear and effective verbal and written communications with Guests, co-workers, and corporate staff.
• Ability to run and maintain good physical condition throughout your shift.
• Maintain a clean work environment including all surrounding areas of ramp, drive and valet podium.
• Professionally provide and receive feedback to improve service
• Strong self-motivation, organizational skills and good judgment.
• Ability and willingness to take on new duties based on changing business needs.

Required Experience &

Qualifications:

• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver’s license
• Must be able to successful complete the company pre-employment background check, including Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to drive all types of vehicles including luxury vehicles, manual transmission vehicles, and electric vehicles.
• Maintain understanding of venue layout, particularly the parking areas and exits
• Excellent verbal communication skills and collaborator
• Ability to stand throughout the duration of a scheduled shift (minimum 4 hours)
• Ability to bend or twist at the waist to reach and move items at ground level (typically traffic cones or parking signs)
• Must be capable of working outside in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, high wind, snow, or rain)
• A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first

Preferred Experience &

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parking and/or valet

Working Conditions:

• This role is represented by Teamsters 117 Union.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of weekends, nights and holidays required
• Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
