As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be engaged with the practice of existing Schwab clients, providing wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients – this role is for you.
ResponsibilitiesProvide wealth management and financial planning advice to Schwab clients. Grow a client practice through asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. Collaborate with Schwab specialists and adhere to advice guidelines to help clients progress toward their goals.
Required Qualifications- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during your tenure on the job
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy, and exceeding client expectations
- Ability to leverage a team of Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, knowledge of the markets, and the ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward their goals
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients including:
Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning - Ability to adapt and implement change as the market and business conditions evolve
- Passion for community engagement to discuss market conditions, sound investing principles, and wealth strategies with clients
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while advancing personal development in Wealth Management
Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
