Overview

Business Development Manager at FINITETEK INC with expertise in sales and recruiting.

Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Financial Planner in preparing for and conducting client meetings, with a focus on accuracy, detail, and personalized service.
  • Manage all pre-meeting tasks, including data gathering, agenda creation, client paperwork preparation, Investment Policy Statements, and asset allocation strategies.
  • Handle post-meeting follow-ups such as financial situation analysis and coordinating implementation with external professionals when necessary.
  • Execute and support investment account transactions, including individual trades, cash management, portfolio rebalancing, and tax loss harvesting.
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning advice to high-net-worth clients.
  • Independently manage and nurture ongoing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Financial Planner on portfolio maintenance and management.
  • Serve in a supporting role on the Investment Committee, contributing to research and decision-making.
  • Use proprietary software to manage account models, trading, and tax strategies.
  • Conduct ongoing fund research under the guidance of the Chief Investment Officer, including fund swaps and model updates.
  • Assist with preparing and coordinating portfolio reviews in collaboration with the Investment Committee.
  • Build meeting agendas and facilitate productive client discussions.
Key Qualifications
  • Active FINRA registrations, including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA-recognized equivalents)
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.)
  • CFP certification or equivalent industry credentials strongly preferred
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starting mindset
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while keeping the Lead Planner informed of progress and obstacles
