Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance and Accounting team, serving as a strategic business partner to branch, department, and program leaders across the association. This role is responsible for advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and decision support; leading and improving budget and forecast processes; and acting as a subject-matter expert and power user for NSPB, the organization’s enterprise planning platform.

Hiring Range: $90,000 - $100,000/ year

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted strategic finance partner to branch and program leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and financial guidance to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Design, build, and maintain complex financial models, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, pro formas for new programs and sites, and long range planning models.
  • Lead annual budgeting and recurring forecast cycles, including process design, timeline management, assumptions development, and variance analysis.
  • Translate financial and operational data into clear, compelling analyses, reports, and presentations for senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Act as an advanced NSPB user and functional system expert, supporting model design, enhancements, troubleshooting, reporting, and user enablement.
  • Develop and deliver finance and system related training, tools, and documentation to improve financial literacy and planning capabilities across the organization.
  • Produce and maintain allocation methodologies and schedules, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A teammates to improve models, processes, standards, and shared deliverables; provide informal mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A, including process optimization, automation, and best practice adoption.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting, with demonstrated exposure to complex modeling and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decisions through clear financial insights and executive-level presentations.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including scenario modeling and decision-support analysis.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning concepts, ideally within a multi-site or matrixed organization.
