Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - Seattle, WA (hybrid)

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for building and leading our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, while also driving data-driven insights across the business. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with the CFO, Controller, and department leaders to inform key decisions and optimize financial performance.

  • Be the FP&A lead in a growing, mission-driven startup.
  • Work directly with the CFO, Controller, and leadership team on strategic decisions.
  • Gain broad exposure across new product launches and scaling initiatives.
  • Help shape a finance function that will grow alongside the company.
What You ll Do
  • Own FP&A Processes: Lead the company’s annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain dynamic models to evaluate business scenarios, product line economics, and investment opportunities.
  • Performance Analysis: Track KPIs and variance to plan; provide actionable insights to executives and stakeholders.
  • Business Partnering: Work directly with department leaders to support strategic initiatives, optimize spend, and improve ROI.
  • Board & Leadership Reporting: Prepare materials and analysis for executive and board meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to product, marketing, sales, and operations leaders.
  • Process & Tools: Improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to enable scalable and timely insights.

Skills You Bring
  • Experience: 6–10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
  • Technical

    Skills:

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and strong modeling ability.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and BI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write SQL for BI inquiries strongly preferred
  • Business Acumen: Strong grasp of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and financial levers that drive growth.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communicator who can present financial insights to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Highly collaborative partner who builds trust across the business.
  • Proactive problem solver with a solutions-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
