Our base salary range is $70,560 - $105,840, and in addition we have generous bonus plans to provide a competitive compensation package.

Who You Are

We are seeking a mission-driven, detail-oriented Financial Analyst with strong grants experience to support the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) needs of our organization. This role is essential to ensuring our financial operations support strategic impact—especially in how we manage, track, and report on restricted and unrestricted grant funding
.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of nonprofit grant compliance and financial reporting, along with strong analytical skills and a passion for mission-driven, tech-enabled work.

Your Next Challenge

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with organizational budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Prepare internal financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership and the board
  • Support the annual budget process and quarterly forecast updates
  • Develop and maintain financial models to track program costs, grant performance, and organizational sustainability
  • Track and report on grant expenditures, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting to funders
  • Monitor restricted vs. unrestricted funds, ensuring proper allocation and adherence to grant agreements
  • Collaborate with program and development teams to build grant budgets, monitor spending, and ensure funder compliance
  • Help ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external reporting requirements
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance reporting and efficiency
What You’ll Need Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with financial software (preferably Sage Intacct and Workday Adaptive Planning), data visualization tools, and grant tracking systems
  • Solid understanding of fund accounting, grant budgeting, and compliance (including government funding regulations such as Uniform Guidance)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders
  • A positive attitude and a strong customer service orientation
  • Commitment to high professional and ethical standards
Preferred
  • CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification is a plus but not required
