Job Description
Baker Tilly, one of the fastest growing CPA advisory firms in the nation, has an incredible career opportunity for a Credits and Incentives (C&I) Senior Manager, Tax to join our growing Tax Credits practice. Our C&I Tax Credits practice is made up of professionals across the U.S., who work with clients to develop an efficient and cost-effective approach for identifying, calculating, documenting and transferring eligible federal and state credits, mostly under the Inflation Reduction Act, but also including other federal and state credits related to affordable housing, historic rehabilitation, domestic manufacturing and workplace hiring.
Our team has assisted clients in a variety of industries to identify, document and sustain federal and state credits through a comprehensive understanding of their business operations.

What You’ll Do
- Be a trusted advisor to middle market clients by providing strategic tax credit consulting services that includes:
- Work with other industry experts to document eligibility and qualification of clients for certain federal and state tax credits
- Identify purchasers of federal and state tax credits able to be transferred
- Close tax credit transactions along with mitigating risk to tax credit purchasers
- Research and draft technical memoranda related to tax credit matters
- Support industry experts with tax technical issues
