The Investment Associate will serve as a core member of Palingen’s team, contributing to investment execution, portfolio oversight, and firm operations. The role blends analytical rigor with strategic context and is ideal for someone who seeks high professional standards, a values-aligned environment, and the opportunity to have a material impact on the development of a new investment firm.

• Support the sourcing, evaluation, and analysis of new investment opportunities.
• Lead financial modeling, valuation, and diligence for active investments.
• Prepare and refine investor materials, quarterly updates, and fundraising presentations.
• Coordinate fund administration and investor reporting processes.
• Partner with portfolio company management on KPI tracking, operational analysis, and the execution of strategic initiatives.
• Conduct research and build frameworks to support strategic and capital allocation decisions.
• Contribute to the development of internal systems and processes as Palingen scales.

• 2–3 years at a leading investment bank or private equity firm (elite boutique or bulge bracket).
• Advanced analytical and modeling capabilities with disciplined attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mature judgment, reliability, initiative and follow-through.
• Comfort using modern analytical tools, including AI-enabled workflows, to improve research quality and efficiency.
