  • Manage new leads, schedule and confirm Loan Officer appointments, send pre‑qualification links, onboarding materials, and needs lists to members.
  • Follow up with members on outstanding documentation, upload, organize, and maintain member documentation in internal loan systems.
  • Maintain attendance and demonstrate commitment to SCU values.
  • Review inbound leads and web applications to identify viable opportunities and prepare leads for Loan Officer outreach.

  • Assist Loan Officers in completing accurate Uniform Residential Loan Applications (Form 1003) and analyze borrower credit and financial information to support loan product discussions.
  • Run credit reports and Automated Underwriting System findings as permitted, prepare Initial Fee Worksheets, and support loan pricing per guidelines.
  • Partner with Loan Processors to ensure required documentation is collected, track and upload conditions requested by processing and underwriting, and resolve file issues to maintain momentum.
  • Maintain accurate loan files and member records across all required systems, ensuring documentation is properly uploaded, labeled, and stored.
  • Monitor file status and assist with managing deadlines and workflow priorities, providing day‑to‑day administrative support to Loan Officers as needed.
  • Ensure all activities align with policies, regulatory requirements, and member privacy standards, maintaining a high level of accuracy and supporting a compliant, audit‑ready loan process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of mortgage lending or related financial services experience.
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service mindset with a sense of urgency and follow‑through.
  • Proficiency with loan origination systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Alignment with Seattle Credit Union’s mission of serving and empowering communities.

Working Conditions:

  • Team members may attend special off‑hour meetings and seminars.
  • Work may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.

Compensation: Compensation is based on the candidate's geographical location, calculated using an adjustment factor from the Seattle area market compensation.

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Respond to questions, issues, or requests with empathy and sound judgment.
