We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance organization supporting the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain team. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive supply chain optimization initiatives through insightful, data-driven analysis. This role is both strategic and detailed and requires a finance professional who loves building complex financial models, enjoys rolling up their sleeves for day‑day business aspects, and solves problems creatively.
Responsibilities- Build, run, and maintain complex financial models to support AWS infrastructure commodity planning, derive key financial insights, and communicate results to AWS FP&A and senior management.
- Conduct supply chain monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance analysis and communicate results to AWS FP&A and senior management.
- Develop ad hoc business analyses and present recommendations to AWS senior management.
- Collaborate with business partners and co‑lead supply chain optimization projects by influencing through data-driven analysis, reporting, and metrics.
- Serve as a key finance partner working with cross‑functional teams to provide actionable insights and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast‑growing, global AWS business.
- Partner with Accounting, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast‑growing, global AWS business.
- 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) OR Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role experience (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance).
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- MBA, or CPA.
- Knowledge of Tableau.
- Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analysis experience.
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.

The base salary range for this position is USD 82,700.00 – annually (USA, WA, Seattle). Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and location.
