Estimated Salary Range: $145,000 - $180,000 DOE

They are looking for a Controller who can take ownership of the accounting function and serve as a trusted partner to leadership and operations. Controller | The Role

The Controller will lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This position works closely with project teams and senior leadership to support decision-making, maintain strong controls, and keep the organization financially sound.

Controller Key Responsibilities

As a Controller, you will be responsible for the core accounting and reporting activities of the business.

• Oversee general ledger, job cost accounting, billing, AP/AR, and month-end close
• Ensure accurate WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and project cost tracking
• Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial statements
• Partner with project and operations teams on cash flow, forecasting, and margins
• Maintain internal controls and support audits, tax filings, and compliance needs

Controller Qualifications

The right Controller brings strong construction accounting experience and a practical leadership style.

• 8+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Solid background in construction accounting (job cost, WIP, percentage-of-completion)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, not required)
