Accounting & Finance Manager

Betting Jobs is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager on behalf of a fast-growing startup based in Manila.

This is a hands-on opportunity suited to someone who can build, manage, and improve key finance processes within a fast-growing online business environment.

Responsibilities

* Own end-to-end finance operations and reporting, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, management accounts, board reporting, KPI monitoring, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and cash flow management.

* Oversee online gaming finance operations, including player wallet accounting, PSP/payment reconciliations, deposit and withdrawal tracking, bonus liability accounting, affiliate and revenue-share calculations, and reconciliation of high-volume transactions.

* Monitor and analyze gaming and commercial KPIs such as GGR, NGR, margins, marketing ROI, bonus efficiency, cost control, and departmental performance, delivering actionable insights to support decision-making.

* Ensure strong financial controls, general ledger integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with PAGCOR and other regulatory, AML/KYC, tax, and statutory requirements.

* Lead process improvement and finance systems enhancement initiatives, including ERP optimization, automation of reconciliations/reporting, and scalable finance workflows.

* Manage banking relationships, coordinate with auditors and external accountants, and support group-level consolidated reporting with business-specific insights.

* Lead, develop, and structure the local finance team, establishing clear processes, accountability, and performance standards within a growing business environment.

Requirements

* 8-12 years of finance/accounting experience, including 3-5 years in a senior finance leadership role.

* Strong iGaming/online gaming finance experience, including KPI reporting and high-volume transaction reconciliations.

* Solid technical accounting knowledge and experience managing month-end close and financial reporting in complex or regulated environments.

* Experience with payroll, tax compliance, statutory accounting, audits, and regulatory reporting.

* Familiarity with gaming metrics such as GGR, NGR, RTP, bonus models, and affiliate/revenue-share structures.

* Experience with ERP systems, finance automation tools, and process improvement initiatives.

* Startup, scale-up, or small company experience preferred, with the ability to work hands-on and independently in a growing operation.

* Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).

* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ownership mentality, reliability, and ability to build structure and processes in a fast-growing business.
