Hybrid Working Model

This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

About

The Role

The Supervisor, Investment Analysis oversees a team of Investment Analysts that support a variety of Parametric's investment work. This work includes responding to analytical requests, updating marketing material, reviewing investment performance, and responding to client inquiries. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: training and mentoring direct reports, maintaining in-depth knowledge of investment processes, managing team deadlines, ensuring work is completed within best practice and ensuring key performance indicators are met.

The position requires teamwork and collaboration across multiple departments and the expectation that every member of our team will offer services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our client services.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by addressing team escalations, organizing work on the team and providing updates to leadership
  • Act as a subject matter expert of all processes and work the team is accountable for
  • Participate in hiring and training processes as needed
  • Ensure written team procedures remain up-to-date
  • Ensure quality standards on the team are met and work is completed on time
  • Generate data sets and materials that support the ongoing management of Parametric investment strategies
  • Provide analysis and assist in creating responses for prospects, clients and internal stakeholders
  • Uphold department reputation through professionalism, accuracy, responsiveness and commitment to client service
  • Contribute and adopt ideas to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the client experience
  • Assume other responsibilities as required
Job Requirements
  • 4‑year degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience. Internal candidates with 1.5+ years of experience with the firm will also be considered.
  • Must be capable of organizing a team to accomplish goals as a unit
  • Must be able to problem solve effectively and creatively
  • Must possess strong math/quantitative skills and analytical writing ability
  • Must possess a high attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
  • Must possess a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to handle a heavy, deadline‑oriented workload
  • Must possess intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Familiarity with Factset, Bloomberg and other analysis tools is a plus
  • Experience with Python, R, SQL and/or VBA is a plus

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for the position: $70,000 – 140,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award and participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component.
