• Lead finance controllership for one or more supply chain leaders, working directly with the AWS Supply Chain organization.
• Prepare and present financial summaries and business insights to Business and Finance Management.
• Build out and enhance financial models, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses.
• Develop and implement long‑range business planning.
• Work with big data and transform it into insights and information.
• Lead automation efforts of critical processes.
• Confirm compliance with current contracts and controls, while developing new processes and controls to support the growing, global AWS business.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including creation of standard and ad‑hoc reports, tools and templates.

• 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross‑functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, determining the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits).
• MBA, or CPA.
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making.
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.

The base salary range for this position is 95,400. USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
