You’ll Do

At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:

Financial Planning & Analysis (40%)
  • Own monthly gross margin analysis for field services, hardware, and performance payouts.
  • Explain differences between forecast and actual results and identify root causes.
  • Build and maintain driver-based models, including shortfall liability and reserve forecasts.
  • Run sensitivity analysis to evaluate risks and support investment decisions.
Operations Partnership (30%)
  • Partner with Residential and Commercial Operations leaders on cost performance.
  • Analyze technician productivity, vendor costs, and key drivers of service expenses.
  • Define and track operational metrics that impact gross margin.
  • Support Board and Quarterly Business Review materials with clear, data-backed insights.
Data, Systems & Process (30%)
  • Ensure operational data from Salesforce and field systems ties to financial results.
  • Work with Accounting to ensure job costs, recoveries, and reserves are recorded correctly.
  • Improve data quality, reporting processes, and financial visibility as the business grows.
  • Lead ad hoc analysis across Revenue or OpEx as needed.
Who You Are
  • Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets and resolving discrepancies.
  • Able to move between detailed analysis and clear communication.
  • Curious about operational drivers and focused on understanding the “why” behind results.
Experience You’ll Need
  • 5+ years in FP&A, Transaction Services (Big 4 or Banking), or Corporate Finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building complex, driver-based models.
  • Experience analyzing margins, job costing, unit economics, or project-level profitability.
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems (Net Suite, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Experience That’s a Plus
  • Experience in renewable energy, field services, HVAC, or logistics.
  • Experience in a high-growth or operationally complex environment.
  • Familiarity with subscription or performance-based revenue models.

  • If you are in the Seattle area, we offer a vibrant office space in the historic and beautiful Smith Tower, in the heart of Pioneer Square.
  • We prioritize applicants near one of our employee clusters and offer one or more local gatherings per year.
  • We provide outstanding benefits including family medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) administration and $1k match per year and thoughtful paid time off.
  • We offer 12 weeks of paid parental leave to all FTE employees (birthing and non-birthing) after 1 year, and four-week paid sabbatical leave after four years.
