Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Alexa Smart Home Finance team. Alexa Smart Home is responsible for providing customers with new devices, services, and features that are core to the Alexa experience, supporting customer engagement and acquisition. Alexa now works with over 145,000 compatible smart home products, and customers have connected more than 100 million smart home devices to Alexa while interacting with their smart home devices every couple milliseconds to control their connected homes to simplifying their daily routines.

- Building financial models for new business concepts
- Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
- Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support a rapidly growing business
- Establishing and maintaining operating and business metrics
- Leading short and long-term financial planning
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
