Finance Manager, AWS GenAI

Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to be a key member of the Gen AI Finance team. This role will own end‑to‑end finance support including P&L management and planning for GenAI services, drive strategic new feature launches and process improvements, manage multiple time‑sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

• Take the lead in financial planning; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.
• Own the GenAI services end‑to‑end, influencing business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures.
• Support strategic new feature launches and ad‑hoc requests from finance and business leadership.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
• Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.

• 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance).

• 6+ years of experience identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
• MBA or CPA.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.

The base salary range for this position is 95,400.00 –  USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
