Role

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc financial reports
  • Highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and uncover meaningful trends
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
  • Partner with departments to deliver accurate, actionable projections
  • Perform budget vs. actual analysis
  • Investigate variances and provide clear, strategic insights to leadership
  • Collaborate with accounting on a smooth, accurate close
  • Prepare accruals, review general ledger activity, and reconcile accounts
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and ERP data integrity
  • Serve as a trusted internal resource for financial inquiries
  • Contribute to special projects, business cases, and leadership initiatives
  • Deliver ad‑hoc analysis that drives informed decision‑making
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting tools
  • Implement best practices that increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Uphold financial policies, controls, and accounting standards
  • Support audits and proactively manage financial risk

  • Experience in assisted living, facility, nursing home, or in‑home care (bonus)
Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or related finance roles
  • Experience preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget‑to‑actual variance analysis
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, month‑end close processes, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
  • Advanced (expert level) Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly to leadership and operational teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in multi‑entity, multi‑location, or high‑growth organizations
  • Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and compliance activities
