About the Role

This position is for a Consulting Actuary – Life and Financial Services and is based in Milliman’s Seattle, Washington office.

Responsibilities

The candidate should have excellent analytical, communication, time management, and organizational skills. They will construct and analyze financial models, provide advisory services on financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, embedded value, risk management, economic capital, principles‑based valuation, product pricing, stochastic analysis, ALM, and statutory valuations.

Professional & Personal Qualifications

Designation of FSA or equivalent is required.

  • 10-15 years of relevant work experience in the Life Insurance Industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in actuarial projection software
  • Experience in asset modeling and ALM areas
  • Experience with both U.S. and Bermuda reporting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous consulting experience
Availability
  • Available full‑time starting Summer or Fall 2026
Compensation

The overall range for this role is $134,435 – $242,650. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, and certifications.
