Overview
Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the Financial Planning & Analysis group to support the Global Media, Advertising, and Corporate Development (GMAC) Financial Planning and Analysis Team. The team interacts daily with global finance leaders within Prime Video, Amazon Music, Twitch, Audible, Amazon Games, Advertising, and Corp Dev. The role enhances existing reports and models, owns reporting functions during planning and reporting phases, and drives actionable data insights.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with Finance stakeholders at multiple levels to understand business drivers of monthly variance.
- Develop and report accurate, actionable, and timely financial and business metrics for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
- Monitor and enhance existing processes and controls.
- Manage the financial planning/budgeting process.
- Lead and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Develop ad‑hoc business analysis and present recommendations to department leaders.
- Work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and interpreting data results.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or other highly quantitative fields.
- Experience performing financial analysis and delivering recommendations that influence business decisions.
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience with Oracle, Essbase, TM1, and similar tools, or in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making.
- Experience influencing senior leadership and partnering across cross‑functional teams in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment.
- Experience applying automation and AI‑driven solutions to reduce manual effort in reporting, forecasting, or reconciliation.

Compensation & BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
