Senior Manager Treasury, Global Cash & Investments
Expedia Group's Treasury team manages the company’s cash positioning, investments, free cash flow, and working capital from approximately $100 billion in annual gross bookings. This high‑visibility role leads the team responsible for managing Expedia’s investments and cash management function, ensuring compliance and optimizing cash flow.
What You’ll Do- Lead the team managing the investment portfolio, Treasury payments, cash positioning, and direct cash flow forecasting.
- Evaluate, screen, and recommend investment opportunities.
- Manage cash flows and requirements at the subsidiary level, including analysis of monthly forecasts and financing needs.
- Conduct real‑time quantitative analysis of investment performance to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Design and consult on efficient bank account structures, bank products, platforms, and cash‑management operations.
- Maintain communication with companies and senior management regarding cash activity.
- Develop cash concentration, repatriation and pooling structures compliant with U.S. tax, international statutes, and central bank requirements.
- Monitor banking counter party performance.
- Manage Expedia’s intercompany loan portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Expedia Payments Group to optimize cash usage and payment settlement timing, and participate in quarterly business reviews.
- Partner with Corporate Development, Tax, and Business Groups on deal planning, cash‑flow funding strategy, foreign exchange, intercompany planning, and wire execution.
- Prepare global cash and quarterly reporting metrics for senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Data Science.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate treasury focused on cash management and investment management.
- People‑manager experience highly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of cash management, foreign exchange, and banking, with the ability to integrate input from tax, legal, and business units.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and project‑management skills; ability to influence others on complex projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
