Senior Manager, Global Revenue Accounting

Location: United States (Austin, TX or Seattle, WA preferred; hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Revenue Accounting to lead our global revenue accounting function. This role will ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Sales Operations, and Billing, and drive operational excellence across the revenue cycle. The position leads a team of five high‑performing individuals and reports to the Global Controller organization, supporting financial reporting, audits, and process transformation initiatives.

• Lead the global revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Manage the month‑end close process for revenue, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
• Ensure timely and high‑quality balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses.

• Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP revenue accounting guidance to complex SaaS and multi‑element arrangements.
• Maintain and document revenue accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

• Partner closely with FP&A, Sales Operations, and Billing teams to ensure accurate contract interpretation and revenue treatment.

• Drive automation and process improvements across the revenue cycle to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support system enhancements and implementations (e.g., billing, revenue recognition tools).

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of revenue accountants.
• Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, and control‑focused team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on revenue accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 / SaaS / license / professional service revenue recognition.
• Experience managing global or multi‑entity revenue processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred) and Sales Force/Certinia a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
