Job Summary
Nordstrom invites a results‑oriented, highly curious, and driven Individual Contributing Finance Manager to join our Enterprise Workforce Analytics, Incentives & Corporate Services Finance team. This role will serve as a strategic finance partner, using advanced financial modeling and critical thinking to support business leaders across HR and Finance.
Location & Work ArrangementHybrid – downtown Seattle, WA. Presence in the office 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Nordstrom leadership to advise on company initiatives.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders and cross‑functional partners to develop and maintain workforce analytics; build a bridge between systems and provide clear views of headcount, labor costs, vacancy rates and organizational structures.
- Lead streamlining of reporting and processes to deliver faster insights, diagnostic capabilities and accuracy in workforce analyses.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and present recommendations and insights to key business leaders across HR and Finance.
- Prioritize competing business needs, seek comprehensive understanding of business topics and P&L interdependencies, and build trust with partners through reliable work.
- Drive improvements and recommend changes to existing processes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience; retail industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.
- Passion for serving customers and working on behalf of Nordstrom.
- Strong analytical, modeling and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to support assumptions and recommendations.
- Experience managing processes and outcomes through KPIs and scorecards.
- Strong problem‑solving, issue‑resolution, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
- Proven competence in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
- Team player with ownership mindset and focus on delivering high‑standard results.
- Commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
Annual pay range: $93,500.00 – $.
