Mortgage Loan Originator​/Processor

Overview

Our client is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) to their team. The MLO will be responsible for guiding clients through the bridge loan process, from initial consultation to loan approval and closing. This role requires strong communication skills, financial expertise, and the ability to build lasting relationships with borrowers and industry professionals.

This role also requires knowledge of accounting using Quick Books, EXCEL and loan software.

• Assist clients in completing the bridge loan application.
• Gather and review financial documents, including credit reports and income statements.
• Educate borrowers on loan terms, interest rates, and repayment plans.
• Underwrite the application and submit it to the Loan Officer for review and approval.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations, lending guidelines, and market trends.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and referral partners.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state consumer lending laws.

• Bachelor s degree in finance
• 5+ years of experience in consumer loan lending or financial services.
• Have a current NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license.
• Notary Public license is a plus.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.
• Strong knowledge of consumer loan products and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
