Associate Trader, Fixed Income – Seattle

Salary Range: $100,000 USD – $120,000 USD. Compensation is based on experience, skills, qualifications and other factors permitted by law. • Collaborate with the Fixed Income trading team to execute a broad array of trading strategies in global markets, from global mandates to focused mandates across fixed income markets.
• Analyze trading performance against best‑execution guidelines through pre‑trade and post‑trade analysis.
• Develop and implement cost‑effective trading strategies using risk models, optimization systems, and other analytical tools.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, investment managers, and portfolio managers, ensuring compliance with best‑practice standards.
• Interface with various systems and operate multiple market‑facing execution technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• 1–2+ years of fixed‑income trading experience, preferably including international securities.
• Ability to study for and obtain SIE, Series7, 55, and 63 licenses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills; driven self‑starter.
• Knowledge of the Global Fixed Income Trading Marketplace and clearing infrastructure is preferred.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms such as Tradeweb, Market Axess, Bloomberg, Liquidnet, Tru Mid, MTS, and Yield broker is preferred.
