Financial Solutions Advisor – Stage I (Registration Candidate)

Primary responsibilities include:

• Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve financial goals.
• Conduct client reviews and presentations, reviewing investment goals and recommending products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, banking, and managed money solutions.
• Engage and share the value proposition with customers in the lobby.
• Triage client leads and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
• Participate in ongoing training and interaction with the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Complex.

As a bridge between banking and brokerage, the FSA Stage I must have a general awareness of core banking and investment solutions.

• Series7 & 66 obtained within 120 days (Series
  67 and 66, 63 & 65 accepted if previously held).
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to adapt and seek solutions for clients quickly.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education.

Hours per week: 40

Pay range: $28.85 – $33.65 per hour, based on experience, education, and skill set.
Role is not incentive eligible; base salary and benefits include paid time off, resources, and support.
