NBBJ is looking for a talented and passionate student to fulfill an internship role in Accounting at our Seattle‑based office.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an accredited, U.S.

-based higher education program and are planning to return to school in the Fall.

As an intern, you will gain experience by working with other like-minded finance professionals as an integral part of our multi-disciplinary teams. NBBJ strives to provide an internship experience where students are encouraged to contribute actively to firm processes, utilize one‑on‑one mentorship from professionals, and network with other interns across our U.S. locations. In addition to project work, we facilitate learning opportunities through site tours, office wide lectures from guest speakers as well as social events.

You will gain experience in multiple areas of the finance department and will be working closely with full‑time finance personnel within our Project Accounting team. Projects vary in size and scope, with a focus on day to day administrative duties. This is a full‑time, paid internship that will last a minimum of eight weeks to be completed anytime between June and September.

  • Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

  • Are self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Are able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively as a part of a team
  • Are adaptable and able to quickly learn new systems, skills and methodologies

The hourly rate for this role is anticipated to be $25/hour. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
