Our esteemed company is seeking to hire a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. This role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the financial operations of our organization, providing accurate financial data, and supporting our strategic business goals.

• Execute month-end close procedures and deliver accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present quarterly financial reports, ensuring they comply with company policy and accounting standards.
• Investigate and resolve unusual billing issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage the consolidation process, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Develop and deliver management accounting reports, providing insightful analysis of operational trends and margin analysis.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to optimize financial processes and improve financial performance.
• Conduct financial audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and keep abreast of changes in financial legislation.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• Proficient in month-end close procedures, quarterly reporting, and management of the consolidation process.
• Exceptional ability to research and resolve unusual billing issues.
• Proven experience in preparing and analyzing management accounting reports, operational trends, and margin analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial legislation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and complex financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
