Job DescriptionAs a Client Associate/Registered Client Associate, you will become a trusted resource to our clients, advisors and branch. You will use your administrative and operational skills to help our advisors manage and grow their business. You will demonstrate a client-first approach while meeting compliance standards, researching and resolving problems, onboarding new accounts, processing and maintaining account records, implementing technology changes and preparing correspondence in a fast‑paced, professional and collaborative environment.
Whatwill you do?
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them and answering account questions.
- Take initiative to handle account inquiries and customer needs and elevate to financial advisors when appropriate.
- Adhere to compliance standards by obtaining and maintaining appropriate account documentation and communicating with clients about items needed.
- Facilitate the transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires and ACH transfers in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with RBC’s Code of Conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
- Strong soft skills including verbal and written communication, people, organizational, and client service skills.
- Attention to detail and a mindset of helping advisors more efficient and effective.
- Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
- Current FINRA registrations.
- Financial services experience.

The expected salary range for the Registered Client Associate is $49,500 - $77,000 and for the Client Associate is $44,000 - $66,000, depending on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions and business needs. Compensation may include RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program.
