About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced investment advisor with a deep understanding of alternative investments and portfolio construction. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking financial professional who aligns with a non-traditional approach to wealth management and has a proven ability to grow and manage high-net-worth (HNW) client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Source, onboard, and manage HNW and ultra-HNW clients, contributing at least $50M+ in AUM
- Deliver customized wealth management solutions aligned with alternative and non-traditional investment strategies
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
- Investment Strategy & Execution
- Construct and manage portfolios using all-weather, diversified investment strategies beyond traditional stocks and bonds
- Oversee trade execution and portfolio rebalancing based on market conditions and client objectives
- CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
- Demonstrated track record of managing and growing client assets ($50M+ AUM)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in client coverage and relationship management
- Experience executing trades across multiple asset classes
- Strong understanding of equity and debt markets, derivatives, and real estate investments
- Ability to challenge conventional wealth management frameworks and adapt to non-traditional strategies
- Experience with fundamental and quantitative investment analysis
- Knowledge of hedge funds and alternative investment vehicles
- Strong financial modeling and macroeconomic research skills
- Traditional wealth managers who rely solely on stock-and-bond portfolios
- Professionals entrenched in a “60/40 portfolio” mindset
- Individuals unwilling to challenge conventional investment thinking
