TITLE:

Analyst

STATUS:

Full time

GENERAL POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

The Analyst is a full-time role that sits at the intersection of client service and financial planning. You'll work closely with our Partners to help prepare and deliver financial plans, support client meetings, and take on more direct client relationships over time as your experience and licensing progress. Think of the Analyst as the bridge between our client service team and our advisory team — turning client data and planning software output into clear, useful guidance for clients and Partners alike.

We're looking for someone detail-oriented and analytical, with a solid handle on financial planning concepts — things like equity compensation, tax planning, and retirement and estate planning basics — and the ability to explain those concepts in plain language clients can actually use. You should be comfortable working in planning software (eMoney, Right Capital, or similar), communicate well both in writing and in person, and use good judgment with confidential client information.

Over time, the Analyst will build strong client relationships and grow comfortable working both independently and alongside our Partners. We're a small, close-knit firm, so this role touches a bit of everything — planning, client service, and the occasional special project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidates must be able to:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans in eMoney (or equivalent planning software), including cash flow, retirement, tax, and equity compensation scenarios
  • Support Partners in client meeting preparation, including agendas, plan updates, and follow‑up action items
  • Attend client meetings alongside Partners and, over time, lead meetings independently for an assigned client segment
  • Analyze client equity compensation (RSUs, options, QSBS, 10b5-1 plans) and translate planning software output into clear client‑facing recommendations
  • Coordinate with the client service team (Salesforce, Orion) to ensure client data, plans, and workflows stay current and accurate
  • Respond to client requests and questions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with new client onboarding and the transition of prospects through the sales pathway
  • Take on special projects as needed in coordination with other team members
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

We are seeking candidates with two to five years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related client-facing financial services role, with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has a genuine client service orientation, enjoys solving complex financial planning problems, and is motivated to grow within a small, entrepreneurial firm. Traits for this position include a friendly and even-keeled demeanor, confidence in front of executive-level clients, flexibility across personality types, and strong attention to detail.

EDUCATION:

College degree in Finance, Financial Planning, or related field preferred.

CFP® certification (or active progress toward it) strongly preferred; the firm supports continuing education and certification costs.

COMPENSATION:

Base salary, commensurate with experience, plus an annual bonus of up to 20% of base salary.

The bonus is discretionary and based on a combination of quantitative measurements (e.g., client retention, plan completion volume, AUM growth attributable to the role) and qualitative measurements (e.g., client service quality, teamwork, initiative, and adherence to firm process) as assessed by the firm's Partners.

BENEFITS:

We offer a 401(k) plan with profit sharing, medical and dental insurance, and a generous PTO policy.
