Finance Associate – Global Loans / Global Markets

Direct Counsel represents a leading national law firm seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate to join its Global Loans/Global Markets practice in Seattle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance attorney looking to work on sophisticated commercial and real estate finance transactions while gaining exposure to both lender- and borrower-side matters.

• Represent lenders and borrowers in middle-market commercial and commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle revolving loans, term loans, and syndicated credit facilities.
• Assist with financing for private equity-backed acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, loan documents, and related transaction documents.
• Work closely with clients, senior attorneys, and deal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Develop expertise across a diverse range of finance transactions with opportunities for long-term career growth.

• 2–4 years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience with commercial and/or commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Experience with revolving loans, term loans, and syndicated credit facilities.
• Private equity-backed acquisition financing experience preferred.
• Accounting background or experience is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Washington State Bar admission required, or admission in another state with the immediate ability to waive in by motion.

• $235,000–$310,000 annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
