Portfolio Accountant

Guide Property Services is a mid-size management company growing fast! We are looking to hire a Portfolio Accountant who wants to grow and succeed with us. We offer a friendly and casual work environment with performance bonuses, medical, dental, and 401k with matching.

• Oversee all financial aspects of multifamily portfolio
• Collaborate with Property Managers and onsite managers for financial items
• Work with Portfolio Managers for client issues
• Report and escalation items to management as needed
• Month end financials and year end reporting
• Positive and innovative approach to problem solving
• Bank reconciliations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Previous experience working in the property management industry
• Proven working experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
• Excellent client and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office
• Preferred knowledge of App Folio property management software
