Grow Your Career in Wealth Management

Are you an early-career financial planning professional ready to take the next step toward becoming a Financial Advisor?

We are seeking a Wealth Planning Associate to join our growing team in the Seattle/Tacoma area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in financial planning or paraplanning who wants to deepen their technical expertise, gain meaningful client exposure, and grow into an advisor role over time.

You'll be embedded within an advisory team of 2–3 experienced advisors, supporting local clients and playing an active role throughout the financial planning process. You'll have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals, participate in client meetings, and develop the skills needed to eventually manage your own client relationships.

If you're analytical, detail-oriented, client-focused, and motivated to build a long-term career in financial planning, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Support advisors in the development, preparation, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive financial plans.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information to identify planning needs and opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate, polished financial planning reports and presentations for client meetings.
  • Work closely with advisors to develop, implement, and review financial strategies based on each client's goals.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide support before, during, and after meetings.
  • Conduct research related to financial planning strategies, regulations, industry trends, and financial products.
  • Maintain knowledge across key planning areas, including retirement, investments, tax considerations, estate planning, insurance, and cash flow.
  • Ensure financial planning activities and documentation meet applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with advisors and other team members to improve systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Contribute to internal continuing education and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities to strengthen the client experience and improve the firm's financial planning practices.
  • Develop your technical and client-facing capabilities with the goal of progressing toward an advisor role and ultimately managing client relationships of your own.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Financial Planning, or a related field
    .
  • A CFP® certification or active progress toward earning the CFP® designation
    .
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in financial planning, paraplanning, wealth management, or a closely related role
    .
  • Previous professional or internship experience within the financial services industry.
  • Hands-on exposure to financial planning and an understanding of the comprehensive planning process.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence and professionalism when interacting directly with clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an advisory team.
  • A coachable, motivated mindset and genuine interest in developing a long-term career as a financial advisor.
  • Must be local to the Seattle or Tacoma area and comfortable traveling between both offices.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with eMoney
    .
  • Experience with Money Guide Pro or similar financial planning software.
  • Experience supporting advisors in client meetings.
  • Exposure to comprehensive planning areas such as retirement, investments, tax planning, estate planning, insurance, and cash-flow analysis.
