The Mortgage Funding Partner will be responsible for managing and executing the closing and funding process for residential mortgage loans with precision and compliance. This position ensures the timely and accurate disbursement of loan proceeds, supports closing activities, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and seamless loan funding experiences. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with thorough knowledge of funding procedures, regulatory requirements, and a passion for excellence in mortgage lending operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Prepare accurate and compliant Closing Disclosures for member review, ensuring adherence to TRID/KBYO requirements.
  • Coordinate closing details with internal teams, borrowers, and third-party vendors to ensure a seamless closing process.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and borrowers to clear outstanding conditions, resolve pre-funding issues, and ensure all prior-to-funding requirements are met before releasing funds.
  • Review and approve settlement statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of all loan packages—including post-closing document review while maintaining a quality control error rate of 5% or lower.
  • Monitor final loan terms to ensure alignment with the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure.
  • Review loan files for completeness and accuracy before initiating closing documents and the funding process.
