About The Role
Be responsible for the client service operations functions of the branch following a wealth management or portfolio management business approach, including any operational functions necessary to meet client service and compliance requirements. This highly visible position requires a polished professional with superior communication, customer service, and organizational skills. The Branch Operations Assistant is responsible for facilitating an exceptional client experience for in-person visitors and those calling the branch phone line.
TheImpact You’ll Make
- Answer inquiries from internal associates and business partners in a professional and pleasant manner. Act as a liaison between financial advisors and internal PWM support teams
- Assist the Social Media strategy for the branch.
- Seek ways to enhance internal operations for the branch that provide FA(s) business effectiveness and marketability
- Process daily check deposits
- Maintain knowledge of compliance policies for internal associate inquiries
- Coordinate and arrange for branch luncheons, etc. Set up and maintain conference rooms, office supplies, and restocking
- Sort, process and route incoming and outgoing mail
- Copy, fax, and file various materials as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed
- High school diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- 1+ years previous customer service or administrative experience; preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong technology aptitude with the ability to adopt new tools, including AI-enabled solutions, preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills; excellent telephone and client service skills
- Detail oriented. Critical thinking and proactive problem solving skills
- Good analytical skills with ability to perform semi-advanced math
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to be flexible
- Ability to handle clients professionally and manage challenging situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms (Thomson ONE, Albridge, Envestnet, CRM, Money Guide Pro, Liquid Office etc.). Strong organizational skills -- consistent ability to prioritize work flow of self and Financial Advisors in order to achieve specific goals in a timely manner
- $22.52 - $29.54 hourly rate
- Bonus potential up to 8.5% of base pay
- Compensation and bonus are commensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitability
