This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong track record of success to play a crucial role in contributing to our mission of reducing the cost of access to space.

As a Finance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to partner with program leadership to drive financial performance and programmatic decisions!

Financial Analyst Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Utilize data analysis and business acumen skills to provide key insights on financial risks and opportunities, and drive closure of mitigation actions.

Manage portfolio of capital projects and partner with stakeholders on development of ROI, EAC, and funding analysis.

Advising on optimal strategies to meet key schedule milestones while ensuring teams are executing within financial constraints

Continuously improve financial processes, source data quality, models, and reporting, identifying key performance drivers and introducing new analytical methods.

Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation, initiative, curiosity, and ability to deliver results.

Lead projects from start to finish, taking ownership to drive actions and meet deadlines

Build data models that integrate information across different sources and provide accurate analysis

Develop data models to track key performance indicators, input metrics and enable quick decision-making.

Lead meetings and prepare executive-level presentations to communicate insights and recommendations effectively

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related analytical field.
5+ years demonstrating performance in roles that include business planning, analyzing performance, and reporting insights to senior leadership levels.

Demonstrated ability to drive results, not just report on them Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong foundation of technical skills in working with large data sets; eager to leverage AI to enhance financial skills and insights

Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships with key business partners and the broader finance team.

Experience with data mining across complex data sets for the purposes of data analysis.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a self-motivator.

Expertise in building complex data models.

Strong skills in running meetings and preparing executive-level presentations.

Desired:

Experience with SQL, Python, GenAI, Tableau Experienced with MRP systems
