Hirewell’s client is a large-scale AI company seeking a Credit Analyst to join its Invoice to Cash team on a contract basis. This is a newly created function focused on evaluating new B2B customers, recommending credit limits, reviewing credit holds, and helping the business make smart decisions as customer volume and usage continue to grow quickly.
This is not a traditional bank credit role and it is not a slow-moving corporate credit administration seat. The right person will be comfortable making frequent credit recommendations in a high-growth, fast-changing environment where the business is still building process, policy, and tooling.
Invoice to Cash owns the work between a signed order and cash in the bank, including credit, billing support, collections, and cash application. This role sits at the front end of that process. You will recommend how much credit to extend to new B2B customers, whether orders should be released for existing customers with past-due balances, and when changing customer behavior or exposure should be escalated before it becomes a larger collections issue.
WhyThis Role Is Different
This is a chance to help build a credit function inside one of the most important technology categories in the market. The company is growing quickly, the customer base is expanding, and many customers are usage-based, which means exposure can change fast. The work requires good judgment, speed, accuracy, and the ability to balance risk with business momentum.
The ideal person will not just process a queue. They will understand what they are seeing, document decisions clearly, identify patterns, and help improve the way credit reviews are handled as the function matures.
What You Will Do- Review new B2B customer accounts and recommend credit limits, payment terms, prepayment, or other risk mitigation.
- Review existing customers requesting additional credit or higher exposure.
- Review and clear order holds for customers with past-due balances, balancing collection risk, customer relationship, and revenue opportunity.

- Monitor existing customers for changes in payment behavior, exposure, or public information that may indicate increased risk.
- Document credit reviews, decisions, and exceptions clearly so the credit file supports audit, controls, and revenue recognition requirements.
- Track credit review volume, turnaround time, exposure, outcomes, and recurring issues.
- Identify where credit reviews are adding friction without reducing risk.
- Recommend improvements to the credit review process, including where policies, thresholds, documentation, tooling, or automation can better support speed, accuracy, and risk management.
- Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Collections, Revenue Accounting, Legal, and Invoice to Cash leadership.
- 3+ years of business-to-business credit analysis experience, including reviewing new customer accounts, recommending credit limits, payment terms, and clearing order holds for customers with past-due balances.
- Queue management within OTC, invoice-to-cash, AR, collections, billing, or financial operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written documentation skills; able to clearly document credit reviews, credit decisions, exceptions, and credit files in a way that supports audit, controls, and revenue recognition requirements.
- Able to balance collection risk, customer relationship, and revenue opportunity, while clearly communicating credit decisions and conditions to Sales, Deal Desk, Collections, Revenue Accounting, Legal, and Invoice to Cash teams.
- Experience in fast-growing, ambiguous environments where process, policy, and tooling are…
