U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) seeks a Grants Director to join her Washington state team. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of the federal grants process, have outstanding written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, and be able to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be strong writers, detail-oriented, strategic thinkers, that can multitask. This is not an entry‑level position;
familiarity with working in a congressional office is a plus.
Core responsibilities include:
- Drafting grant letters of support
- Tracking grant opportunities for local constituencies
- Coordinating information flow on grants with the Outreach, Policy and Communications teams
- Researching funding opportunities for critical projects
The annual salary for this position is $75,000.
