The Role
An established and growing medical imaging service provider is looking to expand its service team with an experienced Field Service Engineer. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of advanced medical imaging systems including X-ray, CT, and MRI units.
You'll be visiting healthcare facilities, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all necessary standards. The position also involves quality assurance inspections, regular maintenance, and close collaboration with internal departments and customers to ensure top-tier service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of medical imaging equipment across healthcare sites
- Perform preventative maintenance and QA inspections in line with standards and schedules
- Maintain clear and accurate service records, paperwork, and communication logs
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure effective communication and service coordination
- Represent company values in every customer interaction and service call
- Support other service team members and contribute to a collaborative working environment
- Report directly to the Area Field Service Manager
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a self-starting, hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in dynamic, client-facing environments. You should be technically confident and capable of working independently while managing travel and field service work efficiently.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3+ years of experience installing or servicing medical imaging equipment (X-ray experience required)
- Strong knowledge of imaging systems and medical device components
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and IT systems
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region and occasionally work flexible hours
