Era Living is seeking an experienced and collaborative Area Community Health Nurse (ACHN) to support our community nursing teams in delivering high-quality Health and Wellness services to older adults. Available shifts will be scheduled Monday – Friday, 09:00am – 05:30pm.

- Provide clinical support and guidance to Community Health Nurses (CHNs) across all of the Era Living communities
- Serve as a backup/stand-in nurse when needed and perform full CHN responsibilities
- Conduct audits of medication services, assessments, documentation, incident reports, and regulatory compliance
- Support quality assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
- Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing education for nursing staff
- Serve as a resource for electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medication administration systems (eMAR)
- Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts
- Assist in developing and implementing company-wide Health & Wellness policies, procedures, and projects
- Maintain current knowledge of Washington state regulations and boarding home requirements
- Travel regularly to Era Living communities to provide on-site support
- Strong knowledge of gerontology, residential/long-term care, and services for older adults
- Understanding of Washington Administrative Codes (WACs), RCWs, and healthcare regulations
- Experience auditing clinical documentation, medication systems, and compliance standards
- Ability to analyze health data and documentation to identify risks and improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems including experience with EHR and eMAR systems (Point Click Care or similar preferred)
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Calm, professional decision-making in fast-paced or stressful situations
- Commitment to culturally responsive, resident-centered care
- Willingness and ability to travel between communities as required
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Licensed as a RN in the State of WA
- Capable of meeting Boarding Home Administrator requirements
- Experience working with older adults in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facilities, preferred
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Complete Caregiver Dementia and Caregiver Mental Health training within 120 days of hire
- Complete 8 hours of Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) yearly (completed by birthdate)
