Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This is a long-term contract position that involves ensuring a smooth and detail-oriented patient experience while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

- Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility while reviewing their benefits.

- Accurately collect copays and process payments using established procedures.

- Resolve registration discrepancies and address front-end claim edits efficiently.

- Oversee patient flow and maintain precise documentation in Epic systems.

- Handle referrals and intake for specialty services, including managing virtual referrals from One Medical.

- Communicate effectively with both clinical and administrative staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

- Provide outstanding customer service to patients while addressing inquiries and concerns.

- Ensure the reception area operates smoothly, including managing multi-line phone systems and inbound calls.

Requirements - Proven experience in a medical front desk, patient access, or healthcare administrative role.

- Familiarity with insurance verification processes, copays, and eligibility procedures.

- Hands-on experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.

- Exceptional customer service skills, especially in high-pressure, high-volume environments.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and solve problems effectively.

- Effective communication skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care.

- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and perform receptionist duties efficiently. Talent Match®
