Description
This role performs a wide range of technical and patient care procedures requiring independent judgment while operating a multi‑slice CT scanner. The position utilizes power injectors, monitoring equipment, and involves starting IVs as well as administering IV, oral, or rectal contrast under the direction of an onsite physician. Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential. In addition to CT responsibilities, this role continues to apply radiologic technology skills by performing diagnostic X‑ray and Fluoroscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures using a multi‑slice CT scanner, requiring independent judgment.
- Utilize power injectors and patient monitoring equipment during CT exams.
- Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast under the direction of the onsite physician.
- Provide exemplary customer service to all patients and colleagues.
- Participate actively in a team‑based environment, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Continue utilizing radiologic technology experience to perform diagnostic X‑ray and Fluoroscopy procedures.
- 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
