Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for an outpatient breast imaging position requiring an active WA license and ARRT (M) certification.
Responsibilities- Outpatient breast imaging clinic located in a medical office building on campus
- Performs screening and diagnostic mammography services for adult and geriatric patients
- Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
- Hologic equipment experience preferred
- Epic EMR required
- Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Day off during the week (typically Tuesday or Wednesday) varies based on unit needs — flexibility required
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington State
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former permanent staff from non-Swedish Providence facilities must have been separated for at least 3 months before being eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent staff must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact eligibility
- Any RTO requests must be disclosed upfront — requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Orientation is 8 hours
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience
- Active Washington State license required
- ARRT and ARRT (M) certifications required
- Current BLS required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with 3D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammography required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
