Description
Speech-language pathologist (SLP) delivers and supervises the delivery of services in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing. Upon physician referral, the SLP will perform evaluations and develop individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implement the plans, reassess treatment results, and actively participate in discharge planning. Services are delivered within a team approach, including all disciplines, the patient and their significant others.
Provision of services for pediatric adolescents as well as inpatients and outpatients may be required. These services are delivered in compliance with Swedish Medical Center standards, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state‑of‑the‑art practice.

Required Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire
- Related experience
