Patient Care Coord​/HCD

Adecco Healthcare & Life Science is working with our client in Seattle, Washington to hire a Patient Care Coordinator for their facility.

Type: 3-month contract- possible extension

Hours: Monday – Friday (Shifts vary: 6:45a–3:15p, 7:30a–4:00p, or 8:30a–5:00p)

Pay Range: $19 to $25 (DOE)

• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations to protect patient operations and confidentiality.

• Manages patient check-in and check-out processes
  , including verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and obtaining required documentation.

• Greets and assists patients in person and over the phone with a professional and compassionate demeanor.

• Conducts patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, including preventive care visits and follow-ups.

• Schedules, confirms, and reschedules patient appointments while maintaining accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Meets outreach, scheduling, and preventive care quality targets to ensure operational efficiency.

• Serves as a primary resource for resolving patient inquiries or concerns and handling patient complaints.

• Coordinates with clinical teams to support patient flow and ensure efficient movement through the facility.

• Supports training and onboarding of new patient service staff members.

• Generates reports and assists with operational improvement projects as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned to support the healthcare facility.

• GED or High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Certificate in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.

• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross often required in clinical settings.

• At least 1-year experience as a Patient Care Coordinator or in a similar medical front-office role preferred.

• Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency required.

• EHR System Proficiency – Experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic, Next Gen) preferred.

$19.00 to $25.00 per hour
