Boyer Children's Clinic is currently seeking a Full-Time Intake Specialist - Education
. Boyer provides medical, therapy, special education and family services to infants and young children with developmental delays, and their families. The Intake Specialist - Education guides families through the intake process for Early Support for Infant and Toddlers (ESIT) program for non-medically fragile children. This role works closely with the intake and referral team, therapists, educators, and family resource coordinators to ensure a smooth and supportive transition from referral through enrollment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Referral Coordinator on new ESIT referrals.
  • Complete the intake process for newly referred children.
  • Obtain and review medical and developmental histories to identify qualifying diagnoses and potential vision or hearing concerns.
  • Administer developmental assessments alongside an intake provider (therapist or educator) to determine ESIT eligibility.
  • Review enrollment paperwork with families and process documentation for program enrollment or discharge.
  • Collaborate with Family Resource Coordinators and internal departments to determine next steps for services.
  • Coordinate with community providers involved in a child’s care.
  • Participate in community outreach and intake team initiatives to improve services for specific populations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation
  • $27.01 per hour to $38.38 per hour, depending on experience.
Work Environment, Physical Demands & Travel Requirements

The work environment for this position is a typical office/clinic environment. The physical demands for this position requires the employee to use computers and sit/stand in an office environment. Daily travel to home visits, appointments, and between Boyer locations at Montlake and Magnuson is required. Must possess a valid Washington State Drivers’ license and automobile insurance if driving a vehicle.
